I had a chance to visit Cartoon Art Museum this weekend and OH MY GOD, the second half of the show looks fantastic! Now, all 184 pieces of artwork from the Art of Totoro Foest Project book are exhibited together, you can really appreciate the magnitude of this event.
The first half of the show ends on January 18th and the second show will come down mid February. It is absolutely best to see when both shows are up. Don’t miss your opportunity!
And come join us at the reception!
Location: Cartoon Art Museum
655 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 US (between Second Street and Third Street)

And yes. We will sell 20 Totoro books during the reception. You heard it right. Only twenty left.
Look at the beautiful presentation Andrew Farrago, the curator of Cartoon Art Museum did!
The second space which is is quite spacious and the show wraps around the back as well! Wow wow!

wow that looks great! love the painting on the wall-great tribute! I wish I could visit-would be awesome…but it’s a bit of a commute from Ontario Canada X(
what a great way to support a great cause X)
I wish I could go, but I’m all the way on the other side of the country. The space looks fantastic. I am very very sad right, but happy at the same time because everything looks wonderful! I wish I could purchase one of the twenty books too, since I missed my chance the first time around.
*sigh* I will definitely try to make it up to SF to see both installations, but I was disappointed my friend couldn’t snag a book for me. To the lucky 20 raffle winners… I’m jealous
When can we expect a reprint??
It looks great show. WOW
only 20 left?? will there be another publication round?
Are there any plans for the Totoro Exhibition to go on tour?
I just discovered your site and blog! I am sad to see that it looks like your project is over… I would have loved to help spread the word. We love the movie and we love trees of all kinds. If you ever start up again let me know, I would be happy to post about the book or anything else on my blog.
